Meili Gupta
Phillips Exeter Academy '20 Meili took her first CS course at her public middle school in Bethesda, Maryland. Since then, she hasn't stopped wanting to learning CS. Attending AI4ALL @ Stanford in 2017 introduced her to the power of AI. Since then she has proposed her own course on Machine Learning at PEA, conducted a summer research internship with Professor Abhinav Shrivastava at the University of Maryland on fixing AI bias, and plans to major in CS next year. She also likes to debate (against or with her twin sister) and play violin. |
Mana Vale
Phillips Exeter Academy '22 Mana got her start in computer science when she discovered MIT’S Scratch in elementary school and eventually progressed to Python and Java. She believes programming is a skill as fundamental as reading, writing, and math that children should be exposed to at a young age. To this end, she has organized and taught several CS workshops and events to promote coding awareness. She is a Technovation Challenge semifinalist and AI4ALL alum, and she hopes to major in CS in college. In her spare time, Mana enjoys listening to music, dancing, and tinkering around in the kitchen. |
Yuvraj Sethi
Phillips Exeter Academy '21 Yuvraj was first introduced to CS in 6th grade at a summer camp where he learned the basics of python programming. By 8th grade he had also learned java and began teaching younger students the fundamentals of CS. In 2018, Yuvraj co-authored a paper on an AI aided diagnostic support system for dermatology. The following summer, he conducted a research internship at MIT, using MATLAB to analyze the time course of brain processing for applied stimuli. In his free time, he enjoys playing football, basketball, the piano, and the saxophone. Yuvraj is currently a junior and hopes to pursue a major in biology or chemistry. |
